The New 2011-2012 Steelheads Team

The Smithers Steelheads are excited to announce some new faces in the organization this year. Tom DeVries as the new Head Coach, Stephen Graf as President, Kelly Zacharias as General Manager and Bob Couture as Director. A huge THANK YOU to those that have left the team. If not for their valuable contributions we would have not enjoyed the success seasons we had.

The team on the ice looks a lot like last year’s squad with a few new additions as well as Michael Wall playing goal for the fish this year. Overall we are very optimistic about our chances to repeat as Lightning Cup Champions ( Regular Season League Champs).

McDonalds Steelhead Days

Oct. 28, Nov. 25 & Dec. 16/11 will be Steelheads Nights at McDonalds. From 4pm – 8pm on these nights members of the Smithers Steelheads will be serving at McDonalds Restaurant with 15% of the sales on those dates and times going to the Smithers Steelhead's Hockey Club.
